Bain's Siding. Here the line from Lowca met the Gilgarran Branch. Up to closure in 1973 coal from Solway Colliery, Workington came up the Gilgarran Branch from Parton (off shot to the right) and was collected by a Lowca loco for the washeries at Harrington No. 10 pit. |
