Looks like a 0-6-2 tank loco. Could be an ex Hull & Barnsley one now classed as a Class N11. It would be departing for Springhead sidings, in the west of the city, where the wagons would be added to trains for the West Riding collieries.

Could be a H&B F1 0-6-2, of which there where 5 but it looks like a NE loco by the shape of the cab roof?
