This is roughly where my childhood home was built in 1957 or 58. I lived here apart from university until I left in 1983 when I married. My parents eventually purchased the house from Manchester City Council and later sold it in 2000 moving to Cheadle Hulme. Loved growing up in the countryside although as the years progressed more green space disappeared until now it's just a suburb of Manchester. Not been back since my parents left and have no desire to do so.
