This Railway line was the Grimsby Station bypass line for excursions traffic to Cleethorpes and fish/freight trains. To the right the line goes to Cleethorpes and splits at Garden Street, north east for Cleethorpes and south for Louth, Boston and Peterborough on to London - This was called the East Lincs Line, it was a disaster when it closed in about 1970. The track-bed of this line south out of Grimsby is Peaks Parkway!
