This building was originally built for the Worcester railway Engineering and Carriageworks Company in approx 1855. They closed down around 1860.

The building was used for the Commercial Exhibition at Worcester in 1882 and then occupied by local company Kay & Co Ltd in 1894 until 1907.

The building was then the home of heenan and Froude, an engineering company who left the site in the late 1970s and now it is used by a variety of enterprises and businesses.
