| The plaque on a tree stump to mark where Giuseppe Garibaldi planted a Giant Sequoia tree when he visited on 15 April 1864. This area is now housing development. |

 Footbridge over the Bedford to St John's Station and Bletchley line. The attached photo taken on the 7th December 2013 shows the replacement bridge which looks as if it could survive a direct nuclear hit! |
