The Three Pigeons Inn is a beautiful 17th Century Coaching Inn. Appears that it has always been below the level of the road.

People's Park which opened in 1910, and has a bird house, tennis courts, a large field and a children's play area. The park is often used in the summer to hold small festivals.

Was at one time known as Bridge Street station. The station seen in this picture was demolished and rebuilt in the late 1950s.
