"Fernleigh", known to locals as "the big house". Miss Poole, the last occupier was a regular sight in her governess cart in the early 50's

"Ivy Cottage" a noted refreshment stop in Victorian and Edwardian times for those visitors to Blackpool who desired a relaxed excursion away from the hoi polloi. Demolished early 60's.

Bispham fire station, originally the offices of Bispham with Norbreck U.D.C. until 1918 when it merged with Blackpool.

This was also the site Bispham UDC power station, in use until it merged with Blackpool council. Bispham wanted to take a supply from the tramway power station but could not get agreement so they built their own which was later converted to the library.

This area is now the Bispham campus of Blackpool & Fylde college.

The Red Lion pub with the remains of the floors of the original building on All Hallows rd. behind. The buildings with dark roofs to their right were for many years Bispham Laundry.

Norcross civil service site, one of several sites built locally during WW2 to accommodate civil service departments moved away from the Home counties to safer parts of the country. Currently (2014) being demolished as redundant.
