The London City Airport terminal now sits over the site of the graving dock. The runway is located along the area covered by the sheds. The roadway between the sheds was about a mile long and known as the Burma Road for some reason.

Harland and Wolf Shiprepairers and Engineers workshops. After H & W ceased operations in London around 1969 /70 these workshops were shared by R & H Green and Silley Weir and J Russell and Company. Both shiprepairer companies. Silleys had the majority of the sheds with Russells having the easterly bays, nearest the King George V dock idetified with the ventilators on the shed roofs. J Russell became part of the London Graving Dock Group of Companies before all of the shiprepair facilities on the Thames were nationalised as part of British Shipbuilders

R & H Green and Silley Weir Shiprepairers and Engingineers. I believe the actual drydocks were owned by the PLA (Port of London Authority) and the various shiprepair companies around the area rented then as and when they secured contracts to repair ships.
