These workshops were built for Harland and Wolff and R & H Green and Silley Wier later took on the workshops. I served my apprenticeship in the three bays on the left which were rented out to J Russell and Company that was one of the London Graving Dock Group of companies. The drydock ws later filled in and is now the terminal building for the London City Airport. |
