Think that these are the oak trees that are still on Saddlescombe Way. Closer to the brook, you can see two more trees that are still in the park (based on what I can see from Google Maps). I remember my mother saying that the trees on Saddlescombe Way probably had been hedgerow trees along the edge of field. It looks as if she was right. '
