Tram enjoying the last few weks of its existance before London says "Goodbye" on the final day 5th July 1952. It's last journey will be to a fiery end at Charlton works after many years of service. The short film "The Elephant Will Never Forget" tells the story of those last few weeks and the way London gave a huge farewell to something that for 50 years had been just part of the daily general scenery going about its business and now was coming to an end. '
