The Cedars: once the country home of Peers Groves, of the Groves & Whitnall brewery in Salford, and his family. After their day, and as the area was built up, it was for many years used as a local community centre. The house was finally demolished in more recent years, and now the offices of the Willow Park Housing Association stand on the site. '
