Prince Consort Rd with the Reay Gear Works. They became Geo Angus Gears and later R W Transmissions. They closed in the mid 1970s and the land is now a housing estate. The building was built as a Platers Shed for the Newcastle Shipbuilding Co 1919-1921 . '
